The Bible tells us to “Give unto the Lord the glory due his name; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness”.  (Psalm 29:2)  Here at NorthPark we fully understand that worship is a matter of the heart.  Yet we also recognize that there are places that are special for worship and praise.  We want our new Worship Center to be one of those places; a “holy space”.

As we continue to grow, the need for our new facility becomes all the more clear.  Last Sunday, our attendance showed an increase of 66 people above the same Sunday of 2009.  We are ministering to nearly 20% more people for Jesus than we did one year ago.  I hope you rejoice with me at that great news!

But our focus is not on numbers.  Our focus is to lift up Jesus Christ and worship Him in Spirit and in Truth.  For that to happen, we must have a spiritual foundation to go along with our physical foundation.  Prayer gives us that spiritual foundation!

We—as weather and construction will allow—will have a second  Prayer Walk this Wednesday, starting at 6:15.  This time you will be able to walk and pray over our new sanctuary floor.  Come help us set the spiritual foundation for the future!
