Women of Faith - Over the Top Tour 2010

God is not stingy. He does not weigh out his love for us grain by grain; he doesn't squeeze out forgiveness one tiny drop at a time. Not our God—he pours out mercy in a flood. He loves us more than we know.

 He gives us more than we can ask or dream.

He's unrestrained. Excessive. Outrageous.

            This has been a great Missions summer for us at NorthPark.  I hope you realize how fortunate we are to have people from our own congregation that are on the mission field.  Some, Jeff Schuurman and  Loren and Alana Holland, are serving extended terms in Ecuador.  Others, Jason Haselle, Kathryn Rawlings, and Morgan Holland went on summer missions trips.  It has been great to hear from many of these people that we know and love as they have shared with us  about their work, adventures, and experiences!

            This Sunday, Dr. Bret Boes will share with us about a trip that he and Dawson took this summer to work in Peru.  Again, people from NorthPark are touching lives for Jesus—around the world!

            Along with Bret, I will also be sharing.  For those who can’t go on a mission trip, I want you to know the vital part you can still play in supporting missions trips and missions work.  Here at NorthPark we do that through our giving to Faith Promise.

            Faith Promise, money God gives us so we can give it back to Him for missions, is an exciting way to grow your faith and to reach around the world for Jesus.  I hope you will join us as we learn about how we support God’s work in Haiti, Ecuador, Turkey, and Russia—and as you have your chance to make your Faith Promise for the coming year.  This is the final part of our “Heartbeat”, as we work to fulfill Acts 1:8 and unconditionally share Christ in other nations!

Our Purpose at NorthPark Church:

          To Know Christ, To Grow in Christ,

          To Unconditionally Share Christ;

          To Be a Community of Christian Love.
